After months, maybe years, your book is written. The copy that you have printed from your computer looks OK, but wouldn’t it be so much more special if it looked like a proper book? Something that does justice to all your hard work and that you could be really proud of to give away to friends and family, or maybe to sell if that’s what you want to do.

Author's Choice, a service from Biddles Limited, will help you fulfill your self publishing dreams without costly royalty agreements or contracts. We are professional book printers who understand the business of books and help hundreds of authors every year achieve their dream of printing and selling their titles.

We will ensure that your book looks exactly as you want it to. Many of our staff have worked in publishing so we are uniquely placed to understand your needs and requirements. We will support you every step of the way from advising on fonts and layout to helping you complete your ISBN application form.

Professional text layout and bespoke cover design

We will take your Microsoft Word or Publisher document and make it look great whilst ensuring that you have complete control over the look and feel of your book. Whatever category your book belongs in: novel, self-help, autobiography, children’s, business or cookbook it deserves to look the best.

We will create a bespoke cover that reflects your vision for the book. We don't use templates - each cover design is unique. If you already have a good idea of how you want the cover to look then that is fine - our designer will put the elements together, based on your design, to a print ready standard. You control the distribution

All the books that we print belong to you. You are the publisher and we can deliver all the books to your home or office for you to distribute as you wish or they can be stored by us under the Biddles Direct service (see below). Please note that although we are happy to enclose an invoice that you have sent us with an order you wil be responsible for collecting the money for that order from your customer.

Biddles Direct

Biddles Direct is our store, pack and post service for Author's Choice customers. We will store up to a maximum of 500 books for up to 12 months charged as follows:

We are professional book manufacturers, not a vanity publisher or print on demand (POD) printer, who have been helping publishers since 1885 so you can be confident that you will be in good hands. Our staff are craftsmen (or women!) who take great pride in the books they produce.

Many members of our customer services team have worked in publishing before moving into book printing so we are uniquely placed to help you and understand your needs and requirements.
